I would like to dedicate this song to a friend of me. 3 years back, I recorded the same song and let her listen to it. She is a friend I know from Jay Chou fan club. She’s kc_theory.

Excerpt from In memory of kc_theory,

One day, i went to the forum and saw a thread mentioning about our members, kc_theory, who passed away on 28 July 2005, due to personal reason. At first, i didnt know who was the girl that everyone is talking about. Until someone showed me her photo. I was shocked. Although we only met one or two times, we chatted alot through MSN. She has the same age as me, and we often chat from our idol, Jay Chou, to our studies, our dreams.

I dont know the reason why she committed suicide. She was a great companion, a great friend of mine. She encouraged me to pursue my dreams.

She was the first person who treated me as her idol, and giving me support in my singing. She said that she will be there supporting me when i’m joining Jue Dui Superstar. She promised that she will wait for my 1st singing album to be out, and i promised her that i will give her my album once i finished all my recordings.

One day, i was feeling sad. She knew, she consoled me.

But, i didnt reply her. That was the last time she chatted with me.

On the day she passed away, i didnt notice her nick and yet i asked her if she have “at the beginning” piano score. I should have notice her nick, and console her..If I’ve done that, she would not be too miserable. Her last nick was : I’m sorry my friends. Goodbye, it’s hard to die

I LOST A REALLY GREAT NUMBER ONE FAN!

From then onwards, I stopped singing this song. Every time I hear this song, it reminds me of her. From my favourite-must-k-song to a song I dread to sing. I decided to re-record this song and hope she can listen to it from Heaven.

*SCREAM* 

As we are approaching Christmas, everyone is busying with christmas shopping, meeting up with friends, schooling. This week is totally a busy week for me. Sunday got make-up class, Monday school, Tuesday school, Wednesday karaoke with my CG peeps, Thursday my CCA performance, Saturday pre christmas service.

Sunday (14 December 2008)
When everyone was sleeping, 150+ students woke up early and went to school for biz management makeup lesson. The whole lecture last for 4 hours. We had only one 15mins break. It was a good weather to sleep and I find it difficult to pull myself away from the bed. The nicest thing was that Daddy drove me to school and back home.

Monday (15 December 2008)
Biz management class again. After lesson, I went to look for my aunt to pass her my laptop for service. Ya, my aunt gave me a second hand laptop. It will be very useful for me especially when I want to do my music recording. But, what I want is a Macbook.

Tuesday (16 December 2008)
In the afternoon, went school for statistics lesson. After class, went christmas shopping. This year, my budget is a lil tight. So I decided to handmake some stuff but this will take up some time and I have do finish up all 15 presents before 24 Dec.

Wednesday (17 December 2008)
In the afternoon, went town to meet my shepherd for shepherding and lunch. I think I’m slowly opening up to people around me(I have to..if not, i will be miserable), especially people in my CG. After lunch, Carrie, Alex, Han Yun, Li Ping and I went Ten Dollar Club for karaoke. We have been talking about karaoke since september and finally we can go karaoke! We sang from 2-7pm for only $10! Singing is my passion..my life.. But sadly, I wasnt on form and didnt really do my best in singing. I recorded some of my singing and will be posting up those decent ones here later. Carrie, Han and Ping left early for sub d and left Alex and I sing for one more hour. After karaoke-ing, we went to some porridge shop for dinner (fellowshipping).  

Thursday (18 December 2008)
In the evening, met Claris at Woodlands for dinner before heading to RP to watch my CCA’s performance - Musique Unifiante. She was stressed about her web designing project.. But girl, you got me okay? If you need my help, must approach me. That’s what best friend is for! Ok?  We went food court for dinner. Then, we took the bus to Republic Poly. Saw familiar and long-time-no-see faces - Shirley, Yi Chuang, Sherlynn, Cui Jun, Edith, Leong, Hilmi, Henda, Yin Whee, Mei Wen, Chu Ting, Valerie, Hafirah, Nora, Sera and many more. Super happy to see everyone. This was my 2nd time, watching this performance as a MIAKE alumni. The first one was In Harmony concert. The performance was great. The first half of the performance was by the school’s Symphonic band, second half was by my CCA- MIAKE.

Let me introduce this song “Decade“. It is composed by Jun Wong who is born in 1986. He is a composer for wind bands. And his latest great piece of work is Pecos Pueblo, which is used for symphonic band competition in France. The way he conducted was different from other conductors on stage. Decade is a song that celebrates the youth spirit and refers to Singapore’s ten years of compulsory education. I think he’s quite talented at this age. You can listen to his Pecos Pueblo here.

After intermission, the 3 of the performers went unplugged and sang the song “Can I have this dance” from High School Musical 3. This song is nice and I recommend you to go listen.

It was a memorable night filled with joy and tears.

Joy - We managed to get some of the alumni back to the concert. It’s a reunion with old friends, teachers and our conductor(Ms Wee). Once a MIAKE-ian, Always a MIAKE-ian. It’s our passion to music that brought us together, crossed our paths and became best friends. MIAKE-ians are always there for their mates, and they are the closest friends as compare to my classmates..

Tears - This performance is Ms Wee’s last performance. She will be migrating to America with her family since her husband has to study there for 4 years. We’ll definitely miss her. “Miss Wee, thanks for your guidance and support. Thanks for believing me and giving me the opportunity to be the Sectional leader of the Angklung section. We shall see ya again on 4 January, Changi Airport 3am!”

Supposed to go prawning with my sub unit people but…. anyway, tml got pre christmas service. Before that, in the afternoon, I will be visiting the imaging team to know what they are doing. Maybe next time you will see me carrying cosmetics brushes, combs, cosmetics pouch around, helping people to do image? =) Shall update you guys soon.

This is a redevelopment of my previous template version 9.1. Everything stays, except for the header picture. I added in the trees, the house, bells, and gingerbread man.  I think you should be able to see the difference of Version 9 and Version 9.1.

Okay, this is a new “dress” for my nails. At first, I wanted to just do easy french manicure with the Beige color and white color. Then I find that it was lil boring. So I added the sliver lining. =)
