This is simply yummy that I am blogging this the second time. I highly recommend Yummy Desserts to everyone of you. The drinks are nicely blended and mixed with colorful tadpoles jelly and sago balls. Yummy Desserts is located in Amara Hotel Food Court. You would really like it especially after a walk from your office to Amara Hotel. Yummy Desserts provide you fruity slushies such as watermelon, papaya, honeydew, strawberry, kiwi, avocado and mango. No preservatives added. What you get is really fresh fruits. You can get a cup at the least $2.80.

Yummy Desserts - Strawberry

Strawberry Fruit Juice
I find the price (S$3.30) reasonable for strawberry dessert. Beside strawberry juice, there’s still strawberry to eat.

I always order this mango and melon juice without fail. I like the concept of having the 4 fruit balls with the fruit juice. I can eat and drink at the same time.

On friday(4 July 2008), met up with Collin for lunch. He highly recommended this Indonesian restaurant - ChiliKong, after visiting the restaurant for a few times. By looking at the name, you should guessed that the food will be spicy, so be prepared to have some spice in your food.

ChiliKong is located at Temasek Tower B1. This small and cosy place was opened in February this year. We queued up at the counter and ordered our meal. Both of us ordered their Chili Fish set. A selection of drinks for you to choose to go along with your meal. I ordered Passion fruit juice. The whole set costs S$10 per person.

waiting for the food..

We sat behind the glass pane of the kitchen. Peeping into the kitchen, the chefs were preparing plates and plates of dishes, and they were very efficient. The service was good and we only waited for a short time before our food was served.

Our Chili Fish Set

Our Chili Fish set not only comes with our meal and drinks, but also with a bowl of winter melon soup. This is simply value-for-money.

Chili Fish. Simply yummy..

This healthy dish is made with fried dory fish topped with a special home made paste. Trust me, this is really great. The fish was very soft and delicate. The

On Tuesday( 1 July), my colleagues and I went to Kotobuki Japanese Restuarant to have our lunch. Located in the bustling central business district, Kotobuki Japanese Restaurant set up its business at the first level of Temasek Tower. Before you enter to the restaurant, a nicely set-up table was at the door, displaying some of their specialties.

It was still early that time and we were ushered immediately to our seats. The waitress ushered us to normal dining area, instead of the tatami room. I would much prefer tatami room than normal dining area as it is more private.

the menu

The menu comes with sheets of paper filed into the plastic sheet folder. Compliment to the menu as it is well-decorated and the photos of the food were well taken. Photos of the food are very important and it gives visitor the first impression of the food. In the end, we ordered the same BBQ Eel set and a basket of Salmon Sashimi on Snow.

Salmon Sashimi on Snow

Initially, the Sashimi on Snow comes with three different seasoned fish. But we told the waitress to change them all to salmon. The sashimi was fresh and soft. We had our salmon with the sauce and wasabi.

In the end, we spent $90++ for 3 of us. My overall comment is a thumbs up for the food. Up till now, this should be the best Japanese restaurant I’ve ever visited. I do not mind visiting again if they can lower down their price. S$30 per meal to me is supper expensive.

Because of these 2 days of party… (2 ♥comments)

… I found out that I cant bear to leave my company.

I’ve been working for 6 months in this company. Initially, I thought I would leave this company end of next month suavely. Since I’m working in the finance department, the people that I will miss the most should be people from my department, plus the admin girls.

But after the 2 days of party, I found that I was wrong. During this working period, I’ve unknowingly made friends from PR department and gradually developed friendship with them. Everyone will definitely be missed by me. Next month, I will be leaving, and starting my next journey of life. Nice memories will be kept in the heart and I will definitely keep in touch with the friends that I’ve made this 6 months.

Let me start from the party on Thursday (26 June 2008).

As usual, I woke up and headed to my office. Saw some new faces when I reached the office. They are colleagues from our other offices - Thailand and Hong Kong. Later in the evening, you could see no one in the office. Then, when I opened the ladies’ door, I saw some of them getting ready for the party. Took taxi with Jia Yi and Sheryl to Sentosa. For the whole night, we were standing up and mingling with clients, suppliers, media and staff. In the end, I was so tired that I decided to go out for a stroll.

It was when I got to know Tan, my colleague from Thailand office. We chatted a lot and exchanged our email addresses.

After the whole party, took taxi back home with Jia Yi and Sheryl. I was the last one to alight, so I was responsible to pay the cab fare. Just dont know why, I short-changed the taxi driver. The cab fare was S$23.80, but I gave the taxi driver S$13.80. Was I really drunk? But I dont think I was drunk. I just drank a bit. Haha =)

27 June 2008 (Friday)

Simply love the photoshop and mac training conducted by Mei and Drew. Though I’ve already know how to use photoshop, but it was really great to attend the workshop. Managed to learn more things than what I usually know. Later in the evening, we went James’ house for our party- part 2. Everyone was told to dress like what we want to be when we were 10/5/2. In the end, I came with a casual wear, cause I just simply lazy/dont know how to dress like what I wanted to be. =x

We had dinner and games together with everyone. The whole party was awesome.  This was one of my happy days in my company..

[1 more month to go. :( ]

Really enjoyed myself during the party and got so high. Cam-whoring session was on. We had dinner, games, karaoke and simply FUN! Took taxi home again with Jia Yi and Sheryl. I almost gave the taxi uncle $2 more.

Cant imagine my last day at work. I will definitely miss everyone.
