Do you want to look young? I think everyone’s answer would be YES. so you may ask me how do one stay young. So here are the tips that you can follow.

Stop giving yourself stress and you should always smile and get ready to recharge. Do you know that it takes 99 muscles to frown and 1 muscle to put a smile on your face? So, why not, SMILE!

When you wake up early every day, you should stretch yourself fully before you get out of the bed. This is to make your whole body to know that it is morning and to fully “wake” up your whole body.

Next, RELAX! If you are feeling stress, you should stop whatever you are doing now and withdraw out from the things you are doing. Take slow and deep breaths to cool yourself down.

It is easier to love someone than hate someone. Hating someone will only make your day worse as you will be thinking of how that person has ill-treated you. Your world will become pessismistic and this is not good for your health.

So, the tip is to SMILE, RELAX and LOVE!

Recently, I’ve been wearing my 7cm high heels walking and running around. Dont say that I’m foolish cause I wore the heels after a long amazing race and my legs were numb. It’s because I do not have any shoe pumps. My shoe racks are filled with heels and heels. 2 weeks ago, I bought these super high heels from Marina Square. You can read more at http://www.simplyjas.com/blog/2009/06/08/busy-woman/.

Is Heels good or bad for us? In this post, you will get to know more about wearing heels and how to protect your legs.

Advantages of wearing heels

Be it 1-inch high or 4-inch high, all heels make you look taller and your legs to be slimmer and longer. A good choice of heels brings out the outfit you are wearing on that day.

An attractive body posture is brought out by heels and give the woman the inner confidence when carrying herself.

And do you know that wearing heels may improve the pelvic floor muscles and in doing so improve woman’s pelvic health? Studies have proven it. The pelvic floor muscles provide vital support to the pelvic organs, which include the bladder, bowels and uterus, as well as helping during sexual intercourse.

Disadvantages of wearing heels

When we wear heels, the entire pressure is exerted on a small portion of our feet. It makes us to have foot paint after wearing for sometime. If you wear wedges, it will be much better. Comfort level of wedges is higher than heels. Wedges on the other hand balance the pressure throughout the whole foot, and are generally fine to wear all day without discomfort.

Heels are not good for walking over soft surfaces such as grass, or the road side with metal railings over the drain. But if you want to look glamorous, heels should be your first choice.

Choosing your heels

Buy heels that you are comfortable in. No point wearing heels that are too high that you dont even dare to wear. While trying the shoes, try to walk around in the store before buying. DO NOT BUY THEM IMPULSIVELY.

Practising on your heels

To get used to your heels, you should practice walking it. Not only will you get used to prancing and gliding in your shoes, but it will also break your shoes in and make them more comfortable for you to wear.

Walking right with your heels.

Wouldnt be ugly if you are walking and pointing your toes not straight, but sideways? Walk with your toes pointing straight and close your legs together and swing your arms. Swing your right arm as you step with your left foot and left arm as you step with your right foot.

Look straight and far so that you can look out for things that could make you trip and fall.

Health Note

If you have chance, you should let your feet to take a rest. Yes, heeled shoes make you taller, slimmer and prettier, but it also damages your legs and feet. Take off your heels when you are not walking and allow your feet rest whenever possible.

Starting this session- Health Bits whereby i will give you some tips about keeping healthly, looking good. Today, we will talk about our precious eyes that allow us to see this beautiful world.

Everyday, our eyes are in constant contact with air pollutants, bacteria, dry air, wind, cosmetics and many other factors. These can be the reasons for eye infections. Although we have eye lashes and eyelids to proctect the eye, but they are still not enough.

While washing our face, we also prevent infections of the lid. To prevent infections, gently massage the outside of the eyelids (eye closed) with a hand towel or cotton buds soaked in warm water or a mild baby shampoo daily. This controls bacteria growth and massage the blocked lipids out of the sebaceous glands found in our eyelids.

Girls, please also remember to remove all makeup and clean the eyes as the makeup particles can get into your eyes during the night. Use and move the cotton pad inward, towards your nose. If you rub in other direction, the lower lid can be pulled away slightly, allowing debris to enter.

If you are a sporty person, remember to wear protective eyewear/ sunglasses to protect from eye injuries.

Many girls would like to look good. So they will throw away their glasses and wear contect lens. Problems associated with wearing contact lneses can be easily avoided by:

  1. Going for a follow up check up after testing new contacts for a week
  2. Do not sleep with your contact lenses on
  3. Never use yap water to clean contact lenses. Use saline solution
  4. Change lens case and replace it every 6 months.
  5. Remove contacts when your eyes feel irritated
  6. Wear sunglasses when you are outside in a windy environment or sunny day to protect again UV radiation

For contact wearers, wearing of lenses will reduced the oxygen supply to the cornea, leading to severe irreversible damages. So, if you wear contact lens for a long time, you should take out the contact lens, before any infections occur.
