A guide to A PRETTY ME!

So, what do you need?
- Art Club – Sliver Lining
- Sally Hansen Double Duty Top & Base Coat
- The Face Shop – Color PK 108
- Sasa- White Glitter Enamel
So, let’s begin
First, apply your base coat using Sally Hansen Double Duty Top & Base Coat.
Then, apply the color you want. For Angelic Pink, I’m using The Face Shop – Color PK 108.
Apply the white shimmer from Sasa to the white part of your fingers.
Wait for your fingers to dry.
The last stage will be applying Art Club – Sliver Lining to the edges in between your pink and white nail colour.

So, what do you need?
- Art Club – Sliver Lining
- Sally Hansen Barely There (2 Natural Color)
- Sally Hansen Double Duty Top & Base Coat
- Sasa- White Glitter Enamel
So.. Let’s START!
First, apply the base coat using Sally Hansen Double Duty Top & Base Coat.
Then, apply the color using Sally Hansen Barely There (2 Natural Color). Let it dry and apply the second layer. (Depending on individual’s preference if you want to make the color more obvious)
Then, using the Art Club Silver lining enamel, apply it on the white part of your fingers. Note that when you buy these kind of lining, please make sure that the brush tip is thin. It will be much much easier for you to apply.
After drying your fingers, apply the base coat using Sally Hansen Double Duty Top & Base Coat.
and DONE!!

It’s a catch!!

I’m supposed to blog this long time ago but I totally forgot about it. I was looking through all my photos to check if I missed out anything that I should blog.
Do you know?

New York Fish and Chips

Really, you will get hooked! I’m not really a deep-fried fish lover as the taste makes me feel like vomiting. New York Fish and Chips is stuffed with Parmesan Cheese and squeezed lemon butter sauce on top. Serve it when it’s hot! Imagine the steam rises out when you are cutting the fish? The fish and the cheese melted in your mouth that you couldn’t help but get one more bite. And one more bite. And just one more. One more?

That time I ordered Peri Peri Catch, the catch of the day was Snow Fish. It was grilled & served with peri peri sauce. I find that the sauce was a lil bit too salty.

Ayam Penyet House

I just came back from dinner with my lovely brothers and sisters. We really had a great time fellowshipping with each other and simply had fun over the dinner. We decided to have our dinner together at Bugis but some of us were a little bit distracted as Wu Chun(吳尊) was in town for his debut movie 《剑蝶/武侠梁祝》and we wanted to catch a glimpse of the road show. Liyi then suggested to have Indonesian food.
Ayam Penyet House is situated at the basement of NTUC Income near Bugis Juction. Many of us ordered Ayam Penyet since it is their house’s specialty. Initially, I was thinking what Ayam Penyet means. So I continued to read on and found out it is also called Flattened Chicken. Hmmx.. sounds funny right? What do they mean by Flattened Chicken? A chicken that is flat? So, I went to google about Ayam Penyet and found the description. It is an Indonesian dish, deep-fry the chicken and then smashed with a wooden mallet. By doing this, It loosens the meat from the bone.

If you are someone who like to eat chilli, you should try their sambal chili. ULTIMATE PLEASE.. I just had a little dip of it and my eyes started to tear. Actually I took a photo of Ayam Penyet but the photo didnt turn out good. So I flickr the photo here.

I’m really very blessed to be in this crazy-for-god family. Thanks for all the things they have done for me, I started to be more open-up to them. I’m blessed to have the J.A.S(Justin, Alex and Shawn). They are just so sweet to pre-order Jay Chou’s newest album (Capricorn) as my birthday present.

it’s my last day

Time flies and tomorrow (16 October 2008) will be my official last day in this company. During this 10 month here, I really learned a lot. I’m really very happy to be given this chance to work here. There are just too many people I wish to thank.

My Journey here..
My cousin Nicole who recommended me this job. I didnt expect myself to be in the working class that fast. End of 2007, I applied for relief teaching on MOE website. By the end of the year, I did not receive any calls from the schools, so I thought the chance of being a relief teacher is slim. So, i started to ask around my friends, my relatives. I remember on 31st December 2007, when I was at my friend’s house counting down to the new year, my cousin asked me if i want to help her in her finance department. So i agreed and an interview was arranged. A few days before the interview, I typed out my resume and emailed to my cousin. Then I went to the company website to look for the photo of the MD, who will be interviewing me. Need to get myself prepared before the interview. I started to “role-play” how the interview will be like and think of the questions that will be asked. The day for interview, I was super nervous. It was my first formal interview, compared to what I went through in the past. The interview went unexpectedly smooth. James wasnt as stern as what I thought and the interview wasnt as scary as what I thought. I enjoyed the interview and James was friendly. I thought I will screw up.

Shin Nichi Japanese Restaurant

On Wednesday (8 October 2008), I had lunch with some of my colleagues at Shin Nichi Japanese Restaurant located at level 2 of International Plaza.

Their lunch set comes with the meal, dessert-of-the-day and sushi-of-the-day. And I ordered Tori Karaage Japanese Fried Chicken. Karaage is Japanese-style fried meat, most often soy-flavored chicken. It is enjoyed by the Japanese all year round. Small pieces of meat are marinated in a tangy mix of soy sauce, garlic and ginger, deep-fried and finished with a slice of lemon or mayonnaise to dip it in.

Tori Karaage Ramen
Tori Karaage tasted like KFC’s fried chicken. It’s succulent and crispy and simply irresistible. Can I just use KFC’s advertising tag line – “it’s finger lickin’ good”?
