Kotobuki Japanese Restaurant
On Tuesday( 1 July), my colleagues and I went to Kotobuki Japanese Restuarant to have our lunch. Located in the bustling central business district, Kotobuki Japanese Restaurant set up its business at the first level of Temasek Tower. Before you enter to the restaurant, a nicely set-up table was at the door, displaying some of their specialties.
It was still early that time and we were ushered immediately to our seats. The waitress ushered us to normal dining area, instead of the tatami room. I would much prefer tatami room than normal dining area as it is more private.

The menu comes with sheets of paper filed into the plastic sheet folder. Compliment to the menu as it is well-decorated and the photos of the food were well taken. Photos of the food are very important and it gives visitor the first impression of the food. In the end, we ordered the same BBQ Eel set and a basket of Salmon Sashimi on Snow.

Salmon Sashimi on Snow
Initially, the Sashimi on Snow comes with three different seasoned fish. But we told the waitress to change them all to salmon. The sashimi was fresh and soft. We had our salmon with the sauce and wasabi.

Calamari Rings
It was a disappointment. It was kinda hard and hard to chew.

In the end, we spent $90++ for 3 of us. My overall comment is a thumbs up for the food. Up till now, this should be the best Japanese restaurant I’ve ever visited. I do not mind visiting again if they can lower down their price. S$30 per meal to me is supper expensive.
