Because of these 2 days of party…

… I found out that I cant bear to leave my company.

I’ve been working for 6 months in this company. Initially, I thought I would leave this company end of next month suavely. Since I’m working in the finance department, the people that I will miss the most should be people from my department, plus the admin girls.

But after the 2 days of party, I found that I was wrong. During this working period, I’ve unknowingly made friends from PR department and gradually developed friendship with them. Everyone will definitely be missed by me. Next month, I will be leaving, and starting my next journey of life. Nice memories will be kept in the heart and I will definitely keep in touch with the friends that I’ve made this 6 months.

Let me start from the party on Thursday (26 June 2008).

As usual, I woke up and headed to my office. Saw some new faces when I reached the office. They are colleagues from our other offices – Thailand and Hong Kong. Later in the evening, you could see no one in the office. Then, when I opened the ladies’ door, I saw some of them getting ready for the party. Took taxi with Jia Yi and Sheryl to Sentosa. For the whole night, we were standing up and mingling with clients, suppliers, media and staff. In the end, I was so tired that I decided to go out for a stroll.

It was when I got to know Tan, my colleague from Thailand office. We chatted a lot and exchanged our email addresses.

After the whole party, took taxi back home with Jia Yi and Sheryl. I was the last one to alight, so I was responsible to pay the cab fare. Just dont know why, I short-changed the taxi driver. The cab fare was S$23.80, but I gave the taxi driver S$13.80. Was I really drunk? But I dont think I was drunk. I just drank a bit. Haha =)

27 June 2008 (Friday)

Simply love the photoshop and mac training conducted by Mei and Drew. Though I’ve already know how to use photoshop, but it was really great to attend the workshop. Managed to learn more things than what I usually know. Later in the evening, we went James’ house for our party- part 2. Everyone was told to dress like what we want to be when we were 10/5/2. In the end, I came with a casual wear, cause I just simply lazy/dont know how to dress like what I wanted to be. =x

We had dinner and games together with everyone. The whole party was awesome.  This was one of my happy days in my company..

Really enjoyed myself during the party and got so high. Cam-whoring session was on. We had dinner, games, karaoke and simply FUN! Took taxi home again with Jia Yi and Sheryl. I almost gave the taxi uncle $2 more.

Cant imagine my last day at work. I will definitely miss everyone.

The love for Ferrets

Aint they cute? They are just lovely.

I was oohing and aahing when I saw this photo. This is so cute to have 3 baby ferrets in a cup. Ferret comes in colours like brown, black, white, or mixed fur. They have an average length of approximately 20 inches, and it weighs about 2-4 pounds. They can live up to 7-10 years.

Being so closely related to polecats, ferrets are quite easily able to hybridize with them, and this has occasionally resulted in feral colonies of ferret polecat hybrids that have been perceived to have caused damage to native fauna. As a result, some parts of the world have imposed restrictions on the keeping of ferrets.

Chmurka, I will miss you.

She is Chmurka (Little Cloud), the Syrian hamster.
She’s known as a little fluff ball especially when she has four legs up in the air. She was born on 6th of November 2006, but she left us on 23 June 2008.

Bo and Shun’s babies

Meet Memebon..the world’s cutest japanese kitten

WARNING: WATCH IT IF YOU DARE. THIS IS DEADLY CUTE.

If you love kittens, then Memebon shouldnt be unfamiliar to you. The moment I see pictures of Memebon, the cutest japanese kitten, I was “AWHH..” You would really agree with me after seeing all her photos. Memebon is an exotic shorthair kitten. This breed was the result of crossing an American Shorthair with a Persian. They have nearly the same body as the Persian, but a thick, dense short coat. They appeal to people who like the personality of a Persian but do not want the hassle of grooming a long-haired cat. They are also known as “The Lazy Man’s Persian.”

The owner of Membon actually set up a website and posted all photos and videos of memebon.

“Hi! I’m memebon. People say that I’m the world’s cutest japanese kitten. I have a large, round, well-spaced pair of eyes.”

“I have a short and thick neck. Popping my head out to find out why I’m in this bowl.”

“I weight as light as feathers.”

“Wow..They are tinier than me. Can I make friends with them?”

“My daddy scold me for running around and then put me in this cup. But I managed to escape.”

If life is much more easier..

Dear bloggie,

I’m writing to you this time round, feeling very down. Today, I found out another side of the story. This is totally opposite of what I’ve heard previously. I don’t know which is true, I don’t know who to believe. Should I blame on myself.. Blame that I am someone people can trust on, that’s why people come and confess to me.

When two people came to me and told me different stories of the same issue, who should I believe? Which one is true? Which one is false? Who made up the story? Who is saying the truth? If life is much more easier.. I do not need to worry.. I do not need to care.. I will not be even deceived and juggled between who is saying the correct story..

Feeling quite down recently with the heavy workload I have at work, the people I met, the tough people I have to handle. Please…I really need someone to talk to.. I cant vent out my sadness, anger, everything… in the blog. I dont know how..

I’m really calling out SOS.. If anyone out there, who receive my signal, can you please give me a call?? Please…..

Great “Reunion” with friends

Saturday [14 June 2008]

Last saturday, had a short meet up with char bo Claris at PS. The last time we met each other was 3 months ago at our CCA concert. We shared a plate of Pastamania’s pasta and had a quick catch up about our lives. After dinner, we went to Pet Lover’s Centre to see hamster. The hamsters there were so cute, cuddling together, eating, yawning. Anyway, I’ve decided to get myself a hamster. When I was in Secondary school, I bought 2 couple hamsters. They reproduced 8 babies but the mother ate 5 away. In the end, I’ve left 3 baby hamster. Then, they reproduced again and that was the time I bought one more cage to separate the male and female. I felt ashamed of myself as I did not really take care of my hamster. Last time, I really had a hard time to take care of many hamsters. Provided, I was still young and didnt really know how to take care of hamster. In the end, I just gave up on them. I feel remorseful about my act. I was still young, and didnt have much responsibility to take care of the hamsters. It was then, i started to lose interest in taking care of them. Now, this will not be my impulsive buy.

I’ve already have an idea of what hamster I’m getting. This is definitely not my impulsive buy. I already thought of getting one female, white dwarf hamster. And this is enough. I’ve also thought of the name for my hamster. Scouffle, Sophie, Snowball.

But, even if I want a hamster, I need to overcome one obstacle – my mum. She objects me from getting hamster as it is troublesome, dirty etc.. She like Teh Peng so much that she rather have Teh Peng than my hammie. (Ok, I will talk more about hamster in my next post.)

After meeting with Claris, went to service. On the way to meet Claris earlier the day, I received a call from Jenn Yang that he will be coming for service. I’m so glad that he nodded often many times of persuasion. This would be our 4th year not seeing each other. I’m really glad knowing him during my first 3 mths. It was a daring move from me that we can now call friends. JY was with me during my down days and encouraged me throughout my darkest time a few years back. He inspired me, He encouraged me. He really encouraged me a lot 4 years back. He was the one who who witness how i fell and he was the one who lent his hands to me during my stormy days. Luckily we did not lose contact. And I’m really really grateful that he is my friend.

My little reflection: Actually, I do not have any desire for any BG relationship. I would rather build on my sisters’ and brothers’ relationships and relationship with God.

Sunday [15 June 2008]

When i was preparing myself to meet Claris again to PC Show, Collin called me for lunch. In the end, we end up going PC Show together. Tell you.. the place was really packed!! Not only was Suntec City, but the City Link too.. Gosh.. And I got almost irritated when people suddenly stop halfway (without giving any cue) and talk to their friends or look at the advertisements. Please go to the cafe if you really want to talk..

Guess what I bought after all squeezing with the crowd? Of all things, ink cartridge… Ya. This is stupid of me getting ink cartridge(such a small item) at computer fair. After we bought our things, we went pet station to see hamster again before going Swensen to have our ice cream. 

In the end, I got a little “lecturing” by Claris and Collin. They told me to be optimistic, dont think of how people look at me etc.. Really hope to get out of this dilemma. I just hate this..
I ought to stop the negative thoughts in my mind and move on with life. But it seems like I’m taking way too long..

Singing Performance [5]: Dan Xiao Gui

I’ve created a video with all Teh Peng’s photos. You will see the link of the video at the bottom of this entry. The singing was done by myself.
The reason why I chose this song for this video was because Teh Peng was like a 胆小鬼. When he first came to my house, he was very unfamiliar with the place. When we did a little movement, he will like “run away”, thinking that there is danger. Quite funny when you see him run around the house.
