Uncontactable by phone

Dear all,
I will be uncontactable for these few days as my phone will be sending for service.
-Jassy

After using this phone for 1 month, the Sony Ericsson K850i just go out of control.
On friday, I was typing a sms and the phone keeps registering a touch on the RHS of the screen which says “back”. Like when I use the directional pad, especially left and down, and number 5, the phone will keep keying back. Imagine how irritating it is when I’ve typed my msg halfway and it just go “back” for me?

I was supposed to go down the service centre yesterday or today. But yesterday, I didnt have time. Then when I have time today, the service centre at Toh Guan Rd is closed.

Daddy will be bringing my phone down to the service centre when he goes to work. This means that I will not have any phone with me for this period of time. My house has some “backup” phones, but sadly, the left keypad of the phone is spoiled.

So, if you have any urgent matters, drop me email, or ring my house or msn me.

Love on the Island

This is my 7th version of wordpress theme for simplyjas.com/blog. And this is my most satisfied design of all. I named this theme as Love on the Island. All the graphic designs is done by myself, alone, without using other’s graphic design and paste it in my design. I started everything all from the scatch.

For this wordpress theme, I focused more on graphic designing and not on the codes. I used the brushes I have, the basic pictures I have in my Photoshop CS.

Actually, I got the code from the original theme Kukufall.

The original design looks like this:

Kukufall

Initially, my mind is filled with wild ideas and I couldnt combine everything all in one design. I can say that I struggled to get the theme I want. First, I started with a theme about the night. So, I got this design.

Starry Night

Then, I thought that it is a little plain and I was stuck and couldnt get the design out. So, I decided to change the theme to something in the day. So I have my sun, my clouds. Add in some plants. butterflies, and hills. Then I thought of getting the sea into the picture. So, i created a little pond, which links to a big sea (sidebar).

The Soup Spoon has something for everyone with scrumptious lip-smacking soups, tasty sandwiches, salads and sides. But of course, soup always takes centre stage!

My cousins, Emily and I decided to have our lunch at The Soup Spoon, located at Tanjong Pagar Xchange. The queue was long, but there’s a reason for it. It’s the delicious soup that draws everyone here.

The Soup Spoon offers SouperValue Combo Meal. The combo meal includes your choice of soup, choice of either a salad or sandwich AND choice of either a pack of chips or drinks.

Spicy Herby Cheesy Wedges
Ratings: (out of 5 stars)
It tastes just as nice without the sauce.

Mushroom Pesto
Ratings: (out of 5 stars)
Sauteed Button & Shitake Mushroom, Basil Pesto, Sundried Tomato, Cheddar Cheese, Green Salad, Red Onion
The salad is a bit weird.

Velvety Mushroom Stroganoff
Ratings: (out of 5 stars)
All mushroom lovers will simply fall in love with this Velvety Mushroom Stroganoff. It is creamy, mushroom-ly delicious. I managed to eat 1/3 of the soup with the bread. Then, I couldnt eat anymore. The staff nicely packed the rest of the soup in a styrofoam bowl for me to bring it back. I would recommend two person to share the SouperValue Combo meal.

Spinach, Avocado & Pint Nut Wrap
Ratings: (out of 5 stars)
Spinach, Pine Nut, Avocado, Cream Cheese, Tomato (Non-Toasted)
For the health conscious ones, this will be a good choice.
