Jay Chou World Tour Concert- Singapore 18 Jan 2008

Arrival of the Heavenly King.

HE arrived in Singapore at 1219pm (flight) with his mum when a lot of fans were already waiting for him at the airport. It wasnt as many people as the last time Jay came to Singapore for his debut movie- Secret. Many fans from other countries came to Singapore specially for Jay. Just like our Jay2u, we’ve sent out “troops” from Australia, Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore.

Our banners were hung up at the barriers for people to see us, and we were dressed in one of our official fan club t-shirt. Jay2u is a attraction-seeker as many reporters came and interviewed us. You can see one of the video clips here.As this blog entry will be SUPER LONG, I’ve splitted up the blog entry from the main blog page. This is to ensure that there will not be any server lag due to the many photos I posted here.Jay finally appeared with a black top and shades. He did not stay too long at the airport like the previous visit to Singapore for the movie- Secret. Following him, is his mother – Ye Hui Mei. And they made their way to their hotel- Marina Mandarin.After work, went straight to Singapore Indoor stadium to get my concert merchandise. Unlike the others who have to queue up to get the merchandise, I took the shortest route and just went straight to the booth without queueing. Nah.. I’m not cutting queue. But, I’ve already pre-ordered the merchandise. So, those who got this pre-order service have priority to get the things we want. This was to ensure that the products that I want will not be OOS.Dont ask me how I have all these lobangs. I have quite a number of contacts and I have friends working in the media.

Outside the booth, there was this big Jay cartoon model. Alot of people queued up just to take this cartoon model. I was with Wendy, taking turns to take photo with this model. Then, there was this group of girls, approaching us and warmly asked us if we want them to take photos for us. Then, alot of people came and asked me to help them take photos. Jay’s fans are friendly! =)

Then, met Jay2U members since I came alone. Initiated the talk with them, and asked them their nicks in the forum. Made alot of friends and very soon, I wasnt alone. This is my 2nd time watching concert in Singapore Indoor Stadium, and I gave my first to Jay too. Then, alot of reporters came and interviewed us. They were from omy.sg(i worked with them..but because of conflicts of interest..we broke up.. ), The New Paper, Xin.sg, Stomp. Stomp featured a lot of our Jay2u members. See if you could spot me. =x Ok. Then the concert started..Let the pictures tell you the story. I attended the 18th’s one.On our seats, we have this hand card.

Hype Record Artistes like Hady Mirza, Taufik, Jonathan, YES 933 DJs Dennis Chew and Calvin Soh, Mark Lee and Ericia Lee came for the conert. Anyway, what I’m going to show you will be photos and videos took during the concert. The videos in this post are specially selected by me to ensure you guys get to see the best quality ones.

So, I talked to her and she said that her friend will be joining her later. After the concert start, her friend came. EH… I SAW SOMEONE FAMILIAR!! It’s my JCNet friend. The world is small.

Just like the previous concert, Nan Quan Ma Ma was the special guest for his concert. I sang along when they were singing Tonight. I seldom listen to their songs, and Tonight was the one of the songs I like from them. The first time I heard it was when I was in Taiwan.

夜曲: The shy guy, got surrounded by two babes. I feel like giggling as his facial expression is funny.

迷迭香

Happy Birthday: It was supposed to be a surprise for Jay. Nan Quan Ma Ma go in cahoot with the fans, and hoping to give Jay a birthday surprise. But never did we know, Jay initiated and asked the fans to sing happy birthday song to him. It was like big birthday party.
First, Dan Tou and Zhang Jie composed a song to laugh at Jay.

雙截棍 – new version: the new version of 雙截棍 NQMM and Jay came out with. I find that the new version is nice!

ENCORE SESION 阳光宅男
We shouted, screamed for him. The whole stadium was noisy. Everyone cheered for Jay Chou to appear again. And yes! HE APPEARED WITH HIS ENCORE SONG 阳光宅男. Since this was the last part of the concert, the security guards did not stop us from standing up. So, we were very high, and just jumped on our seats.

ENCORE SESION 发如雪: He is talented³! Jay learned and played gu zheng during the performance.

Where did Jay go after the concert? He didnt go straight back to the hotel. Heard from my spy that he went to Zouk.After the concert, met Cynthia and her friend(Cheryl). Cynthia said that Cheryl’s friend(Auntie Catherine) can drive her lorry, and send us home since we live near. Mummy was worried for me because I got to know Cynthia only for one day- during our Jay2u KBox gathering. And I must say that I’m daring. I just hop on to other people’s lorry when I dont even know them very well.Sitting in the lorry was fun! The strong wind blowed our faces, our hair flying around like mad women. And I got to know Cheryl’s friend. Auntie Catherine is working with the media. (wow.. so happy.. i got to know a lot of friends in the media) Then we chatted about music companies and the artistes etc..On the way back, Cheryl told me that I looked familiar. Cheryl said her school is XXX when we passed by her school. So I chatted with her, telling her that I was in that school for first 3 months, and was the OGL for JAE.Me: Ooh.. I was there for my first 3 months and OGL during JAE.

Cheryl: I was also there for my first 3 months and OGL too.
Me: I’m from the clan- Elis.
Cheryl: Heh Heh.. Me too…
Me: (excitedly) Then our clan master was..
Cheryl and I: MUSTAFA!!

This world is very small. My friend’s friend is actually my friend. After sending Cynthia home, we went into the lorry as it was freaking cold outside. I was wearing heels, so i took out my shoes and jumped! Man.. the floor surface is rough.. It’s just like a massager for my leg. Only managed to reach home at around 2am.
