Was browsing the web and saw this recipe. “Chocolate Clouds“… Sounds nice! So, i continued reading and see what ingredients they used.. the steps are quite simple and it would be manageable for me. So, i decided to give it a try.
Normally, we will buy mooncakes from hotels and just eat. But now, my mum and I decided to do it ourselves. Time to get dirty again!
Sift flour into a mixing bowl

Golden Syrup

Pour in Golden syrup, Peanut oil, Alkaline Water.
Combine well to get a smooth dough in one direction

First try using the mould

the pattern was not very nice after sometime
the flour was stucked at the cravings.
Solution: Use toothpick to remove any leftovers,
before putting the dough to the mould again.

Bake for 15 mins..
Set aside for 30 mins, brush with egg yolk..
bake for another 15 mins at 180°C
Store for 3 days before serving
