If you remember to catch Channel U 8pm yesterday, you should have watched CSS2. The insights of the first 4 rounds of eliminations. Saw the happy faces when they got into the next round, and saw their depressed faces when their names werent called out. It’s just another round of reality show. If you are not competent, you will have to say bye bye. Now, the judging criteria has changed. 70% of the results depend on the judges, while the remaining 30% will based on their popularity through number of sms. I find that this revised version of judging is much better as they will pluck out the most potential singers, instead of those who got scrape through just because of their popularity.

Potential is not equivalent to popularity.

Like the previous “非常Superband”, we had non-chinese people joining the competition like Juz-B. This time 校园Superstar2, we had at least 4 non-chinese students who plucked up their courage to challenge on another language that they seldom use. There was one muslim boy that really gave me the greatest impression. The moment he stepped on the stage, he was soo nervous. Eyes rolling everywhere, mouth cant stop moving. He was so tensed up that he didnt have a chance to sing what he had prepared. Poor Boy.

Besides joining this competition with friends, some prefer to go with their siblings. There were this two sisters who went to the competition together, but got eliminated out together. sad for them. But, that’s a part and parcel of life. When we failed, we learn.

Some joined the competition to 撞撞胆, but some want to 一曲成名. It’s good to do what we want to do. Since we are still young, we still have to chance to explore the world and do what we wish to do. Youths are full of energy and vibrance. In the process of exploring, we will be able to learn new things.

And now, we got the Top 20 contestants. Some have the potential, some have their look. This is just another round for us to witness if the potentials will get the title of Campus Superstar2 or the good-looking ones.
