Wednesday 9 May 07
We had our Institute Day Full Dress Rehearsal. Officially, it was the Year3s last CCA practice. Harmonis storeroom became a temporary changing room of the girls. It’s kinda strange to have so many girls in a room changing. Then, we had our group photos in Harmonis for the banner.

And we had this kueh and cake.

Thursday 10 May 07
We had our last volley tournament with jl’s group. I admit that jl’s group is much much stronger that us. But, i still believe that we should not give up until the very last second of the match. Initially, my group’s result was lagging far behind. When it was my time to serve, i served the ball and the opponent didnt catch it. But, because of my serving, i managed to close up the difference. It’s kinda “爽” when i got to serve so many times and the opponents didnt catch it.

We had our chemistry mock exam, 3 hours. For the whole day, we had only one break at 10am++. So, when i was during the mock exam, my stomach was growling so loud like no one business.

Friday 11 May 07
Had lunching with my sunshines at KFC Westmall, and went back school for Handing Over of Position Ceremony. It was a surprise for our juniors as they didnt know that we will be here because of the Handing Over. When i came to school, i heard the sound of the angklungs. The Year1s were outside harmonis, learning how to play the angklung. I was excited and ran up the stairs to see my little cute darlings. The yr2s were shocked that we came and thought we just had our consultation with teacher so dropped by Harmonis.

When i reached Harmonis, i saw yongsheng conducting the year1s. I feel like taking the baton, and conduct the practice myself. I started to think of the past, when i was in that same particular spot, conducting and teaching my darlings year2s. Seeing all my darlings yr2s taking the role and responsibility, 让我感动到差一点儿哭出来. After waiting for year3s to arrive at Harmonis, Ben gathered everyone into the room. It was the time. The time when i need to step down as Angklung Sectional Leader. The time i have to stop all duties as a Angklung Sectional Leader. Shirley was the first one handing over her Kulintang Sectional Leader. Both of us didnt really want to be the first few to hand over, as we know what will happen after the handing over. But Ben didnt listen to us, and just announced Kulintang and Angklung successor first. Then Ben announced “angklung sectional leader… nirwani.. “ I handed my position to Nirwani. Hugged her and told her what a sectional leader should do. She said “ok. you also must take care ok? i will miss you. dont cry. good luck for your a lvl“. That moment, tears started to flow like bursting tap water. Both shir and i went to hide at a corner, hugged each other and cried.

when she return, she look at me, and i look at her. our tears welled up, and we just hug and cry. we “dragged” one another to the little corner on the right hand side of the room, and cried like crazy. tears flowed and never ended. i don’t know we’ve cried for how long, sher gf, edith darling & jannah babat saw us cry, and came over to comfort us. but we just cried and cried. non-stop. then sher say, we have to witness the emerging of the two chairman(s), then we went back to stand at the whiteboard area. many people saw the two red-eyed SLs. =x

After the whole handing over ceremony, Hafirah gave a word of thanks to us. I can sense that she is sad to see us leave too. I couldnt stop thinking but cried again. We cried more jia lat than before. Images kept flashing in my mind.. the times we spent together. Sher and jl came to comfort us. Asrida and Nadiah came and hugged me, telling me to take care. And i started to cry again. Many huggies that i will never forget. the warm hugs and greetings from them.

Spiderman3 was great! the animation in the movie. But i was frightened 2 times during the movie. I only managed to watch Spiderman1 recently on Channel 5. That means i’ve skipped SM2 and watched SM3. I like Harry Osborn, much handsome looking than Peter Parker. But sad, he died during SM3.

In the evening, i met 7 of my CCA Darlings for Phantom of the Opera Musical @ Esplanade. Got me, shir, ben, fathiah, tzekiat, daryl, grace,claris, pearlynn. The musical was fantastic. We sat at the last row of the Category 4. It was so far away from the stage, and so high up. Luckily the bino that i brought came to its use. Without it, i wouldnt be able to catch the actors and actresses facial expression. POTO is everything a good musical should have. The nice and majestic backdrop, the music, the costumes, the choreography, the singing, the orchestra. Obviously, POTO exceeded my expectation. It’s really worth it. If i got the chance, i would like to watch it again, but i wanna go for the Cat1.

Saturday 12 May 07
Like wat TK told me, i should enjoy my last performance, my last time in CCA. So, when i reached Harmonis in the morning, i greeted alot of people, and was 自high-ing. Shir and i got addicted to the phantom songs, we couldnt get the songs out of our mind. I started to sing “all i ask of you”. All these songs are addictive. You can get the melody easily in the mind. Then, changed to our costumes and put makeup. I helped some of my daughters to apply eye shadow. At least, this is the minimum i can do for them. Had cam-whoring together with shirley. Our aim was to take photos with each and everyone in CCA. While waiting for the cue to go get ready for performance, shir n i went around Harmonis to take photo with all the members. I went to the shelves to take my camera out. Just as i turned, my head kissed yi chuang’s head. It was very pain. Can hear the loud “kok” sound. Leong was very sweet. He helped me rubbed my head. It was much more better.

Then, it was SHOWTIME. darling shirley was feeling so nervous. At the backstage, she was recalling and trying to play the songs in her mind. Mr J came and told us that it will be our last time playing these 2 SYF pieces together. The curtains drew open and many eyes were staring at us. We successfully played the two songs- Di Tanjong Katong and Dance Fantasy. After performance, we shifted our instruments back to Harmonis. Before dismissal, i requested for our CCA Cheer.

Then the yr3 girls got this flower from grace. thanks alot girl.

Then continued cam-whoring. I think i’ve accomplished my aim of taking photos with everyone.

Then, we had our Year3s group photo.

I will really miss them alot. Maisarah came and thanked me for guiding them throughout her journey in CCA. I promise i will come back and visit you guys, ya? Once your mummy, always your mummy. Forget me not. I will love you guys forever. Thanks for the laughter, cooperation during our sectional practice.

After phototaking and changing, Yi hong and i went home to put our barang barang before meeting the rest of the yr3s at Plaza Singapura. The rest were making their way down from school to PS. Yi Hong and I reached PS first. We were supposed to have our year3s farewell lunch at Pizzahut, but unfortunately, it was closed down. So, we went Swensen instead. Waited for 45 minutes for the table for 16 to be ready. Then, a short while, the rest came and everyone seated together in a long stretch of table. 16 people sitting together from one end to another.

Grace was sitting one seat opposite of me. I was happily enjoying my chicken and didnt notice that she took my fries. so blur of me. TK joined to the “stealing fries” gang. The tables beside us and opposite of us celebrated their friends’ bday. When they sang bday song to their friends, we joined in the fun. sang and clap loudly.

The funniest part was we made fun of jannah. She ordered the Firehouse Happy bday icecream. When the waiter came and lighted up the candle, we sang happy bday to jannah so loudly and the two other tables joined in. (but its not her bday la)

While waiting for our food, sher, shir and i went to the washroom as i need to take out my contact lense. When i just removed my contact, shir called me to take photo together. I didnt wear my specs so i didnt know where shld i stand, cause shir wants to include the girl in the background. Walking back to swensen, we saw this “是大的咯!”

There’s a mothers’ day menu package. That means mothers can get a FREE GOODIE BAG WORTH $260 FOR MOTHERS. So, do i have qualification to get the free goodie bag? I got 20+ sons and daughters! Shir also have many sons and daughters!

After lunching-dinnering with peeps, went shopping around PS with yihong. Long time no shopping. Went yamaha and tried the electronic keyboard. Then, we continued to shop around PS. We came to this DIY shop, selling nice vintage design paper. And those flower petals, buttons that you can use to decorate ur notebooks. Went Marks and Spencer and bought my dutch shortcake, and went home.
