angklung sectional leader loves you

I will never forget the times i spend with you guys. The fun we have during our sectional practice. To tell you the truth, the first time i led you guys for sectional, i was feeling soo freaky nervous. I scared that i will teach you guys the wrong thing. Actually, teaching you guys during sectional was quite stressing for me. Cause many of you have music background and came from music bands in your secondary school life. But i didnt have any background music. For one point of time, i felt depressed as i couldnt do much as a sectional leader. You guys are much better than me. For the first few months as SL, i was afraid that you guys will speak bad things behind my back like “ee.. SL dont know how to teach one.. i can even teach better than her“. Thank you for giving me the respect and being obedient during sectionals. Although sometimes, i couldnt control you guys to keep quiet, but at least you guys followed what i instructed. After many sectionals with you all, i gained my confidence and no longer nervous when conducting.

Thanks for enduring my “cold” jokes during practice. I dont want to be too strict with you guys during sectional. Hope that you have been enjoying the sectionals i have with you. I just hope that you guys can treat me as friend, instead of a distant friend as i have the sectional leader rank. I tried to make sectional a meaningful yet not too stressful one.

During the preparation for SYF, the ex-band people like yvoone, maisarah, ai ling came in. And i had to teach them the basics all over again. Like how to use ur wrist to shake the angklung, using the alternate hands to play different notes, how to control the loudness and softness. *sounds familiar?*

You guys are very initiative like suggesting the March holiday we had 2 months before. Can see that you guys really want to strive good results for SYF. Fun-loving peeps. During the preparation for SYF, ms wee did some changes to the songs, and highlighted the part the angklungs need to decresendo or cresendo. But sometimes, you guys forgot to do so. And i had to remind you guys again and again. You must be complaining that im too naggy? =P But, our hardwork paid off. We got what we deserved!

I will miss you guys.. You all are like my children. I have to worry for you guys everytime. Remind you guys about your mistakes, telling you what to do, what not to do.

A sms that i sent to you guys yesterday evening: “Darling, today is a momrable day. thanks for adding colours to my life for this one year plus. I will always love you. ur angklung sect leader may06-may07”

mom!!! i miss u sooOo much!! hahax.. will never forget the time where u nurture us into like now.. =D will miss those times de.. we swear we didnt say bad bout u lo.. hahax.. dun think too much k? u are seriously the best senior and ‘mom’ ard.. wanna wish u good luck again and may u shine out =D
