The politics of everyday life

I learnt in GP that even students, involve in political activity. Politics is thought to be what governments do-such as the activities of governments, rulers, professional politicians and political parties. We get to take part in politics in schools, through discussion and decision-making. We are involved in politics of everyday life. In a school, this might mean that the teachers and principals have the power to decide on the things they want to do to the students. Like in Parliament, new laws are being proposed, discussed, modified for the better. In schools, the principal and relevant teachers will sit together and and discuss on school rules, programmes lined up for the students.

But not for this scenerio- the lunch time training. A little bit of background information. Lunch time training, obviously it’s a PE training during lunch time. This is for those who have failed their NAPFA Mock test taken at the start of the year. So, those who have failed, one station or more, will have to attend this lunch time training. Poor me, who failed Standing Broad Jump by a few centimetres, have to turn up for this training. Only the PE teachers knew about this program initially, not even our form teachers. So, this program wasnt even discussed with the other teachers?

“We are not torturing you. We are helping you, training you” -said the PE teachers.

And they call this helping? when students have to skip their lunch and attend for this training? Especially on Monday, when school starts at 9am, and the only break we have is around 1230pm. And poor little kids like us, have to LISTEN to our teachers and attend this lunch time training.

Wow! this is a “GREAT time for me to lose weight man!

Worrying that i may get gastric pain, my mum specially prepared food for me these two days. Claypot rice and Fried rice. With these, my anger was somehow extinguished.

How i wish i can faster end this nightmare!
